John Barnes Myofascial Release is a hands on technique that focuses on the manipulation and release of the fascia or connective tissue. Fascial tissue wraps and penetrates all structures of the body: muscles, muscle fibers, bones, nerves, arteries and organs.
By applying gentle sustained pressure and stretching to specific areas of the body, myofascial release aims to alleviate pain, improving mobility and alignment, and restore optimal function.
The Fascial System is one continuous structure from head to foot that, when in its’ healthy fluid state, allows proper functioning of the systems it supports; such as the movement of muscles and transportation of fluids, nerve impulses, etc.
Trauma (falls, accidents, physical and emotional abuse), inflammatory responses ( illnesses and disease), and surgical procedures create restrictions that can produce tensile pressure of up to 2,000 pounds per square inch on pain sensitive structures. These restrictions do not show up on many standard tests (x-rays, CAT scans, MRI’s). Myofascial Release helps relieve such restrictions thus inproving circulation, and encouraging the body's natural healing mechanisms.
Myofascial release is a versatile and effective modality that offers individuals a pathway to improved mobility, structural realignment, reduced discomfort, and enhanced overall well-being.

Reiki is a holistic healing practice that originated in Japan, focusing on the flow of energy within the body to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. The word "Reiki" combines two Japanese words: "rei," meaning universal, and "ki," meaning life force energy. In a Reiki session, the practitioner gently channels this universal energy through their hands, helping to clear blockages, balance energy, and encourage the body’s natural healing abilities.
Reiki offers a wide range of benefits, both physical and emotional, making it a versatile tool for healing and personal well-being. On a physical level, Reiki can help reduce stress, alleviate pain, boost energy levels, and promote deep relaxation, which in turn can support the body's natural healing processes. Emotionally, Reiki can help release negative emotions, clear mental blockages, and foster a sense of balance and inner calm. It is also known to support emotional clarity, reduce anxiety, and enhance feelings of peace and contentment. Additionally, Reiki can help improve sleep, strengthen the immune system, and promote a sense of connection to one’s higher self. Many people report experiencing a profound sense of spiritual renewal and alignment following Reiki sessions, making it a powerful tool for overall well-being.

“The Destination®️ Coaching Method is a comprehensive and compassionate transpersonal coaching strategy that employs extraordinarily powerful Telos Tools. Our tools are designed to resolve unnecessary suffering at every level of human experience: physical, emotional, sexual, mental and spiritual.“ -Dr. Robert Dee McDonald (creator of The Destination Method and Co-founder of The Telos Institute).
Destination Method Coaching is a process that helps clients change their minds and achieve their goals in an ethical and practical way. The coach acts as a guide, using their understanding of the mechanisms of how the mind works and empathy to support the client in reaching their desired destination.
This coaching approach uses sensory-based information and spiritual principles. It recognizes that our emotions are shaped by the meaning our minds assign to what we see, hear, feel, smell, and taste. The coach acknowledges the client's innocence and compassionately assists them in opening up to qualities such as authenticity, humility, mercy, forgiveness, grace, wisdom, and love, using the Telos Tools.
Clients seek out Destination Coaching when they feel stuck and unable to achieve what they want with their current skills and perspectives. The coach employs deep listening and the Telos Tools to understand what the mental representations are that create the unwanted emotional state for the client. Then the coach and client work together to change those representations and thus the ”don’t like” situation for the client. As a Destination Method Coach my role is to assist a client in moving one destination to another; from their current “don’t like” present state to their desired state.
Examples of some issues the destination method can help resolve:
Shocking images or sounds
Traumatic memories
Grief
Internal conflicts
Addictions
Body manifestations (pain, rashes, headaches, etc)
Changing unwanted beliefs
Destination Method Coaching sessions are offered both in person or via Zoom.
Existential Kink (EK), a term coined by Dr. Carolyn Elliott (Lovewell) in her book of the same name, refers to a somatic shadow work meditation practice she developed. Drawing on Carl Jung's concept of the "shadow" — the hidden, often repressed aspects of our psyche — Carolyn created a method for engaging with these parts of ourselves.
But why is this important, and how does it relate to coaching?
As Jung famously said, "Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will rule your life, and you will call it fate." We all face internal blocks or conflicts that make it harder to achieve our desires in various areas of life. Jung discovered that the more we try to suppress or shame these unconscious parts, the stronger they become.
Conversely, when we accept and embrace them — bringing them into the light — a transformative shift occurs. These hidden parts can fulfill their true purpose, releasing the blocks that have kept us stuck. As Jung noted, this process is crucial for growth and for becoming more whole and individuated.
As an EK coach, I use a variety of tools to help clients uncover their unconscious shadow, witness these hidden parts, and offer deep approval and acceptance. While this process may seem abstract, I can speak from personal experience, as well as from observing others, that when our unconscious shifts, profound changes often unfold in the external world as well.
EK Coaching sessions are offered both in person and via Zoom.
